Leading a Godly life is something that’s important to us all. Teaching children to lead a Godly life is something that they can take with them forever. So, how do we teach children to lead Godly lives? Well, it all starts with the example that we set forth for them to follow. Children naturally mimic adults, and adults who live in a Godly fashion are more like to have children who follow right in their footsteps.
As children are always watching, observing, and soaking everything in like a sponge, it’s important for us to speak in a Godly fashion and make the word of God a big part of our lives so that little ones see what He brings to all of us. Pray as a family, thank the Lord for your meals and fortunes. Keep God in a present place in the home. This is really Teaching Children To Lead A Godly Life.
Another important thing to do is help children to develop a passion for Christ early on. Using captivating and exciting Bible stories like the story of Noah and the flood, the story of the birth of Jesus, and the story of David and Goliath can entrance excited little minds into the real depth of God’s word. These stories help them to develop an affinity for the Bible that will last for the rest of their lives.
It’s also crucial that we protect our children, and keep Christ in their lives as they’re shielded from the many temptations of the world. Young minds are impressionable, and turning away from Christ while young can lead to even larger struggles in faith later on. Discuss any challenges to their faith with them, and encourage open communication that allows them to come to you and seek your guidance whenever their faith is challenged by outside sources. Teaching Children To Lead A Godly Life is not only beneficial for them, it is very rewarding for us as well.
