God Speaks About Discord In The Bible.
The Bible has much to express about causing discord among men and women. Many is found in Proverbs. It could be causing strife, contentions, brawling, discord or divisions among men and women. Let us look at what can cause these issues among groups of men and women and what we can do about this. This can operate in any part of life.
1. In Proverbs 6:12-19 we have an information of an individual who triggers discord accompanied by seven things Jesus hates. Verse 15 tells what the results are to those who stay this kind of a lifestyle.
2. We get in Proverbs 15:18a that “A wrathful man stirs up strife.”
3. In Proverbs 16:28a we are told “A froward man sows strife.”
4. Proverbs 22:10 claims “Cast from scorner, and contentions shall head out; yes, strife and reproach shall stop.”
5. Proverbs 26:20 tells us a “talebearer” triggers strife.
6. Proverbs 28:25a claims a proud-hearted individual stirs up strife.
7. Proverbs 29:22a claims an angry man stirs up strife.
Therefore we can easily see an individual who triggers discord through strife and divisions has a religious issue. IF you were a scorner, a talebearer, annoyed, froward, wrathful, sinful, hateful spirited. This individual is not delighted if folks are getting along. She or he is constantly causing individuals to fight with each other.
This continues on throughout walks of life. The truth is it in community gatherings, churches, organizations, schools. There are lots of those who have a spirit of divisiveness that drives all of them to carry discord to men and women. Maybe you have seen folks similar to this. They are not delighted when all things are operating smoothly. These people have a concealed motive.
Jesus wishes for us all to live in unity. He wishes this for all areas of our life. By nature we are sinful. We’re selfish. Our carnal spirit is warring against Jesus. People was once rebelling against Jesus when they built the tower of Babel. Even today most of the people on this planet tend to be warring against Jesus. This warring against Jesus has brought chaos to numerous.
In Proverbs 6:19 we read a couple of things Jesus hates. It claims, “an untrue experience that speaks lies, in which he that sows discord among brethren.” In Luke 22:24 we discover the disciples striving over who is going to be the greatest in Jesus’s kingdom. Romans 13:13 tells us we are to go “honestly.” We’re to not walk in “rioting and drunkenness, maybe not in chambering and wantonness, maybe not in strife and envying.” 1 Corinthians 3:3 tells us that “envying, strife and unit” is a sign we are carnal. Galatians 5:20 listings strife among the works regarding the skin. In Philippians 2:3 we are exhorted to complete nothing through “strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of head let each esteem other much better after that on their own.” In 1 Timothy 6:3-6 we are shown the reason strife is in the Christian fellowship and how to handle it about this. James tells us in James 3:14 when we have “bitter envying and strife” in our “heart” we “must not rest resistant to the truth.” He then tells us in verse 16 that “where envying and strife is, there clearly was confusion and each bad work.”
There is certainly a solution to all or any of this. Once we possess serenity of Jesus in our minds, strife is recinded. The only path this can be likely to occur is salvation from sin and sinning through Lord Jesus Christ.
