Welcome to the most shocking Bible verses many believers don’t even believe it appears when youtubers touch on the subject of religion faith and alleged holy books people get a little bent out of shape so to be clear this video is not intended to condemn nor condone what the Bible is or what it teaches my own personal opinions on this subject which are not stated in this video are absolutely irrelevant my only goal here is to expose people to the unfamiliar biblical content that’s actually found in what’s come to be known is the good book I think you’ll see that while the Bible itself may be hailed is the most popular book of all time many of the let’s say unsavory teachings can find within its pages are not so popular especially not among many who call themselves believers now no doubt many will find the Bible’s own statements shocking and unbelievable so please before you leave me an irate comment or a thumbs down consider that the content of this video comes straight out of the pages of what is known as the Holy Bible and I didn’t write it nor am i attempting here to interpret it the strange irony is that the most popular book in the world claim to be loved by millions throughout the world contains information many choose to reject or explain away in one way or another instead of taking in it says what it says and means what it says approach as they do other more palatable scriptures now in the interest of time I’ll be moving pretty fast so don’t forget to utilize that pause button if you want to write down the scriptural references to verify what’s being quoted here number one let’s start out with the fact that the Bible itself record that God hates people sure we’ve heard many times and seen the billboards that he’s benevolent and loving so loving in fact that the New Testament records that he sacrificed his only Son so that people could have eternal life but the Bible also records in no uncertain terms that quote God is angry with the wicked every day the wicked by the way are identified by Romans chapter 3 as everybody on the entire planet quote there’s righteous no not one there’s none who understands there’s none who seeks after God they have all turned aside they have together become unprofitable there’s none who does good no not one now continuing with God’s hatred of mankind Psalm says God quote hates all workers of iniquity and that quote the wicked and those who love violence his soul hates Hosea records that God says he hated Israel quote because of their evil deeds and will love them no more and quote the almighty goes on to say through the Apostle Paul that he hated a guy named Esau before he was even born quote Jacob I have loved but Esau I have hated number two of all the characters in the Bible who killed others within its pages no one racks up a greater body count within the context of Scripture than God Himself from drowning the entire global population except 8 people during the flood to frying every inhabitant of the two cities of sodom and gomorrah from slaying all the firstborn of Egypt to killing 23,000 israelites for complaining and that’s just naming a few the Bible itself testifies that God holds the record as the one responsible for snuffing out the most human lives men women children it doesn’t matter the biblical testimony is that quote the LORD kills and makes alive and he himself takes the responsibility for the death of everyone who has ever lived since he alone holds the key to life and death Romans 11:36 clearly states from him that’s God and to him and through him are all things that would include death Christ says I am he who lives and was dead and behold I am Alive for evermore and I have the keys of Hades and of debt bottom line is this since he quote hold your breath in his hand and owns all your ways the biblical teaching is that no one can die unless God has decreed it number three God Himself created evil the Bible records that God is good so good in fact that he cannot look upon you so where did evil come from well God personally takes credit for it by saying he comes from him after all he’s the one who placed the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the midst of the Garden of Eden and he himself said that he created evil quote I am the Lord and there is none else i form the light and create darkness I make peace and create evil I the LORD do all these things number 4 the Bible flat-out says that Jesus broke the Sabbath now this is a very big deal in the Old Testament so much so that it’s listed as one of the Ten Commandments it was to be quote a Sabbath of solemn rest a statute forever exodus warns quote you shall keep the Sabbath therefore for it is holy to you every one who profanes it shall surely be put to death for whoever does any work on it that person shall be cut off from among his people what most people don’t know or refuse to admit is that scriptures teach that Jesus Christ himself broke the Sabbath he circumvented the command of exodus 3114 the narrator of the New Testament said to be the holy spirit admits quote therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill him that’s Jesus because he not only broke the Sabbath but also said that God was his father making himself equal with God remember it’s the gospel narrative that makes this statement not a Pharisee or some other enemy of Christ the New Testament admits that Jesus did the very thing the Old Testament warns people not to do and prescribes the death penalty for those who transgress that command number 5 what’s the Bible’s view of women in the context of the New Testament church and the Old Testament law well it speaks for itself quote let your women keep silent in the church for they are not permitted to speak but their to be submissive as the law also says and if they want to learn something let them ask their own husbands at home for it is shameful for women to speak in the church in first Timothy chapter 2 it says quote and I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man but to be in silence so if you have a church that has women speaking you’re looking at a church that disobeys the very scriptures they say they believe number six God caused those who were disobedient to him to cannibalise family members and friends God promises those in Jerusalem who forsake him that he quote will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters and everyone shall eat the flesh of his friend God says he would be the one causing them to do this number seven it’s recorded in the Bible that parents are to have a disobedient son stoned to death well if a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother and who when they have chasing him will not heed them then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of the city to the gate of the city and they shall say to the elders of his City this son of ours is stubborn and rebellious he will not obey our voice he is a glutton and a drunkard then all the men of his City shall stone him to death with stones so you shall put away the evil from among you and quote number eight God keeps people from salvation while the Bible says God quote desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth the Bible also reveals that he blinds eyes and hardens hearts so they can’t turn from their sins and be healed quote but although he had done so many signs before them they did not believe in him therefore they could not believe because Isaiah said again he has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts lest they should see with their eyes lest they should understand with their hearts and turn so that I should heal them quote Jesus even admits that if he performed miracles in certain cities they would have repented and turned to God so they could be saved quote then he began to rebuke the cities in which most of his mighty works had been done because they did not repent whoa do you cours een woe to you bethsaida for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in tyre and Sidon they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes though he could have performed these miracles and saved a lot of people he chose not to number nine going hand-in-hand with number eight the Bible teaches that God predestined or predetermined where people would spend eternity before time began first Timothy 1:9 states that God quote has saved us and called us with a holy calling not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began and Godman says no words in the book of Romans quote I will have mercy on whom ever I will have mercy and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion so then it is not of him who wills nor of him who runs but of God he shows mercy for the scripture says to Pharaoh for this very purpose I’ve raised you up that I may show my power in you and that my name may be declared in all the earth therefore he has mercy on whom He wills and whom He wills he hardens number 10 the Bible teaches flat-out that if you don’t hate your family you can’t be a disciple of Jesus quote if anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother wife and children brothers and sisters yes and his own life also he cannot be my disciple remember these aren’t my opinions this is just what the Bible says and whether you agree with the Bible or not let me hear your thoughts in the comment section below
